Q: Can I include a sibling photo?

A: Yes of course, If your children attend the centre on the same day a sibling photo can be arranged. For childcare centres it is important both children are registered. Please note that the photo will be included in your preview as one of your photo choices.

Q: What if my child is sick on their photo day?

A: Please contact me ASAP to advise and I will work with you to arrange another suitable time if possible

Q: Will there be other children in my child’s photos?

A: In a preschool group photo – yes, however if you wish for your child’s photo not to be taken as part of the group photo they will be listed as absent on the day. In your child’s individual photos every attempt to avoid children will be made however due to the busy nature of preschool centres and childcare facilities it is sometimes difficult to avoid children in the background. If the background child is in full view they will be blurred and therefore unrecognisable. If they are closer to your child, where possible, they will be cropped to avoid their face. If the background child is recognisable, as per the Australia Government’s Australian Law Reform Commission photography policy, images of children are taken and used responsibly and ethically, protecting their privacy and well-being. This includes obtaining consent from parents/guardians (preschools have a photography policy signed by families, childcare centres have families register for photos which allows me to take their child’s photos) and ensuring images are used appropriately and avoiding exploitation or harm.
